          In my sophomore fall at MIT I took the class 2.00 Intro to Design. Our first team assignment was to create a way to pop three balloons ten feet away from us using the limited supplies given to us (including foam core, aluminum foil, string, plastic cups, rubber bands, paper clips, bouncy balls, other balloons, and hot pink faux fur). We designed a foamcore hook able to bring in the balloons (without snapping from its own weight), fur gloves to bring the balloons down toward us, and a "monster" to feed the balloon to. We were the fastest team to pop all three balloons, taking just over a minute.
